Latin American photobook competition

Editorial RM has announced the first edition of their competition for The Best Photobook 2010 of Latin America. Registration is free and the limit for submissions is July 30th, 2010. The jurors are Martin Parr, Lesley Martin, Álvaro Sotillo, Diran Sirinian, Ramón Reverté, Alexis Fabri and Juan Pablo Queiroz.

Editorial RM will publish and promote the winning book.

    it’s the entire way i see my own work (my wife too)…even more (much more) than individual prints/exhibitions we’ve had, we make books…at this point, only hand-made….but, since artist’s books have been the navigation point (and films) for my own work, couldnt agree more…

    i dont even care if a publisher ever publishes a single thing of my own…cause im still making them by hand…and my wife’s hand-made books rock!…

    um…unfortunately not…i’ve never scanned them and posted them…just as most of what i’ve made (old idiot me) exits in life not so much in internet…..but, i think that’s the next thing….that i will take one book and scan the pages and create something…

    but, listen, come to toronto :)))….my wife and i will show u the real stuff, with wine )))

    that’s the next project…scanning our hand made stuff….
