The Bunny Book Coincidence

I’m currently in Brighton, England with my family (and thus the lack of posts lately). I was supposed to be here working on a commission for the Brighton Photo Biennial, but due to some visa problems, I’m not allowed to work. So the trip is pretty much an Easter vacation. But my kids and I have been collaborating on some book projects. On the very day that Carrie posted about rabbit books, my daughter and I were putting the finishing touches on our book, “The Brighton Bunny Boy.” For contractual reasons (with my daughter), I’m not allowed to show the whole thing, but here is a sneak peek:

Be sure to check out Carmen’s last book, The Mountain Trip.

  1. Hi Alec

Glad to see you are in Brighton and getting a full flavour of early spring British rain. It’s lovely, isn’t it.

I like your bunny book and it brings to mind those other small furry creatures – Winnie the Pooh and his cohorts. Those books were set in Hundred Acre Wood (Ashdown Forest, Sussex) which is not too far north of Brighton if you fancied a trip. Lots of bunnies there too.

No trip to Brighton is complete without fish and chips. I suggest you rush down to the Regency on the seafront.

Happy holidays (and maybe a little work – I won’t tell anyone!!)

  2. Ahhh, beautiful Brighton. Hope the weather is better down there than it is over here in weather challenged South Wales.

Hope you’re enjoying your holiday. Any plans on seeing other parts of the country while you’re here?

Happy Holidays to you and yours.

    Matthew.

  3. Why aren’t you allowed to show the whole thing ?
Are you going to publish it or will it just remind a personnal thing ?
You already gave us a foretaste anyway… You should publish it now !! These pages look really interesting, seem to be a great colaboration :)
